Armorer Levequest Guide

General information, levequests, and more on the ARM class in FFXIV

    Armorer (ARM) Levequests
New levequests become available to Disciples of Hand every 5 levels in various locations in Eorzea. Every starting city will unlock levequests as they become available, as well. Below is a list of levels and locations to be looking for as you craft.I recommend saving your allowed levequests for crafting in particular; it seems to be the longer grind compared to the other jobs.

At level 20, you can begin 'repeatable tradecraft leves', or 'Charity' leves on several of the available quests, however you can only repeat these quests up to 3x. Another important reminder is that turning in high quality items gives 200% XP and gil, so try to aim for levequests that are a little lower than your current level, just so you have a higher chance to create HQ items.

Armorer's require A LOT of Ice Shards, so be sure to stock up on those. I would recommend leveling a Botanist (BTN) to level 20 to learn "Menphina's Ward" and use it on nodes that allow an additional attempt, which should yield 15 shards. Farming shards is pretty annoying, but will save you a lot of gil in the long run. I usually farm and do other gathering while I'm watching TV, which helps.

    Leve Types:
    • Constancy - Leves that involve crafting an item and then delivering it to the same location you picked up the quest.
    • Ingenuity - Leves that involve crafting an item and then delivering it to a different location than where you picked up the quest.
    • Charity - Leves that allow you to turn in additional items (up to three times) to receive bonus experience points.
    Repeatable Levequests (Charity) are highlighted.
